"Whisper Pond" the feeling of serenity through simplicity

I read somewhere that you cannot have Light without Dark and you cannot have Dark without Light.
"Whisper Pond" is a definition of this with lights, dark's and the shades in-between.
My photo does not do it justice, the original "Whisper Pond" received a Highly Commended at the York Art Society Art Awards 2015 which runs until this weekend Sunday 11 October

Visit the Historic York Town Hall and check out the Art Exhibition

What can you see? Can see the mushrooms or can see the bird camouflaged among the leaf litter. "Looking for Lunch" attracted the Judges eye and was awarded First Prize for Watercolours and "Whisper Pond" received a Highly Commended. "Wooleen Cattle Ramp" is my third entry.
